The entry was resituated to address the approach with a landscaped plaza area to welcome residents. The new entry is a two-story volume to better scale with the building.

The lounge was designed to be an exciting, bright space that would be attractive to younger students. It is situated directly off the elevator lobby and provides students a place with air conditioning in the warmer months.

The meeting spaces, an office and mailboxes are in the interior core, enabling the lounge to have a view to the street. The reception desk is designed to have a direct view of the door for access control.
