The ability to have access to the outdoors is an important aspect of the center because the environment informs a child’s exploration. A landscape space was designed along with a water exploration/conservation area to assist with the "seed-to-table" program in which students plant and harvest vegetables in the center’s garden.
Also included in this program were additional classrooms, along with specialty areas such as a performance stage, a library and an outdoor courtyard with an orchard and chicken coop. Each addition of the Early Childhood Center ties into the existing facility to create a seamless transition.
