Buckeye Valley Middle School

Buckeye Valley School District had gone many years since constructing new facilities. After careful planning and community involvement, the board of education decided to proceed with seeking voter permission to construct a new middle school at the existing high school site.

The faculty had significant input in the design of this facility. The academic portion of the ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONCAPACITY750COST PER SQ FT$78.07FEATURED IN1999 Architectural Portfolio consists of two teams per grade level for a total of six teams. Each team consists of four classrooms, which includes built-in casework and operable walls that open to form one large area where the team can work together.

Each grade level shares a special-use lab and special-education classroom along with a tutor room, two offices, a faculty workroom and common areas that include the art studio, information center, gymnasium, locker rooms, commons and kitchen.
