The new two-story, 600-student middle school features two sets of four classrooms, including a science room grouped around a multipurpose cluster space to reinforce the concept of student teams. Skylights bring natural lighting into the cluster rooms on the second floor.

The auditorium and the gymnasium, designed for school and community use, can be accessed after-hours through the secondary entrance, while the academic wing remains secured.

Wetland-permitting issues and an aquifer recharge zone location required use of an enhanced nitrogen reduction system for the middle school’s septic-system design.
