This was achieved by acoustically isolating the studios from the main structure with floating floors and double-wall construction. In addition, the roof over the studio core was raised to accommodate proper studio proportions and to remove noise-producing mechanical equipment.

State-of-the-art studios intrigue station visitors and potential donors to this non-profit group. Although the main function of the studios is production and broadcasting, the visual appearance of the space also is integral to marketing and publicity efforts.

With this in mind, the public tour path was designed in conjunction with circulation paths critical to the operation of the station. The studios were opened up by glass walls along the corridor to permit views of program hosts and their guests and to allow further views into behind-the-scenes technical operations. This allows visitors to view operations without disrupting production and yet be in the midst of the creative and dynamic work of broadcasting.
