The design for Lutgert Hall at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) will provide the College of Business with a world-class facility that also will serve as a new front door to the campus. The facility is designed as a four-story building of about 65,000 square feet. Lutgert Hall is to be a signature building that is innovative and embraces the future. The facility is designed to respect the architectural and natural context of the campus, while taking full advantage of its unique setting on the west coast of Florida.

The layout promotes socialization and collaboration among users. In addition, a variety of spaces, both indoors and out, facilitate quiet, individual contemplation, small-group study, large-group interaction and structured learning. The new facility will be a sophisticated, vibrant environment that is inviting to students and is convenient for the business community.
