The university president requested that the architect lead a task force to plan, design and manage a University Club for faculty and staff. It was designed as an elegant but comfortable space for adult professionals. The architectural team also was asked to ensure that the space incorporate and feature the work of talented faculty.

Art from other mediums by UTA professors also is on display in specially designed alcoves. The dean of landscape architecture provided the plan for a stunning patio that enhances the ambience of the interior, as well as the exterior space.

Careful coordination with electrical,

mechanical and structural team members was a hallmark of this project. The team solved various challenges relating to HVAC and lighting, including the artwork and the presence of the glass and neon “river” in the middle of the ceiling.
