The Cienega Elementary School project included a new classroom wing and upgrades to the existing campus. The 14-classroom wing is built over a new underground parking garage. The project allowed a temporary building to be removed and a parking lot to be replaced with needed play space.
The classroom wing includes several seminar or small-group classrooms, student COST PER SQ FT$175.86FEATURED IN2007 Architectural Portfolio staff bathrooms, and teachers’ work rooms.
