The Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Career Development is the largest career and technical-education district in the United States. New construction consists of an entry plaza and canopy element, main entrance lobby, media center, and administration and public-services areas. Interior renovations include re-working classrooms and labs, re-working the culinary-arts kitchen and related areas, and updating building systems and facilities to meet code requirements. The project also includes analysis and implementation of traffic flow plans.
Major renovations to an existing exterior courtyard will integrate exterior landscape gardens with interior learning spaces, providing natural light and views throughout.
Environmental graphics were developed to enhance traffic flow and include building identifiers, directional signage and informational signage.
