This school addition merges two existing high school buildings into one large facility. Through the careful selection of furnishings, finishes and lighting, the 1,200-seat performing-arts theater will create an intimate atmosphere to serve as the centerpiece of this facility.

Inspired by the style of roadway theaters, the 66-foot-wide stage will include a 70-foot ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONCOST PER SQ FT$330.00FEATURED IN2006 Educational InteriorsINTERIOR CATEGORYAuditoriums/Music Rooms space above, a proscenium arch and a full orchestra pit, which will be ADA-compliant. The theater also will feature dressing rooms, an adjoining music suite and a state-of-the-art control room that will operate all audiovisual systems.

Beautifully curved wood acoustical ceiling panels will feature surfaces that reflect and absorb sound at precise locations to enhance the audio experience. The lobby will highlight natural lighting through the use of skylights, which illuminate art exhibits. Red carpeted ramps and stairs will provide an inviting transition from the lobby to the entrance. With this facility, theater patrons and students will experience a state-of-the-art, professional-level theater.
