The new high school has become the visual centerpiece of the community. Rising three stories on a prominent corner, the flagship facility is 25 percent bigger than the original school. The classic, stately entrance boasts four large columns and arched entryways. The traditional feel also is reflected in the interior of the school.

The rotunda adds an architectural element to the media center and lobby, and allows natural light to filter throughout the space. Curved glass surrounds the library opening and provides a visual connection between the two spaces.
The media center has wood columns to mimic the exterior of the school and to help highlight the wood-plank ceiling. Unique light fixtures adorn the ceiling. The stacks are situated at the perimeter, and a combination of soft and hard seating in the center accommodates flexible study styles. The colors help accentuate the architecture and bring added warmth to the space.
