The plan also required a safe and stimulating environment for learning, recreation and social activities. Phase I, completed in 2004, included the design of a new library, the centerpiece of the beautiful 25-acre campus. The program called for 8,000 square feet of new construction, as well as the integration and upgrading of existing utilities.

The architect also converted the existing library to classrooms, and added new facilities for pre-K and kindergarten classes.
