The addition (and concealment) of air conditioning, new flexible seating, new dramatic lighting, new finishes, and a new color palette helped create uplifting spaces capable of housing a variety of programs and services.

Between the chapel and library, a baptistery was added to remind students that they are entering sacred space. A separate prayer chapel also was added to provide a space for quiet reflection and prayer. In the open library space, students now have the opportunity to study, develop relationships and explore archival materials illuminating the university’s rich history.

Students, faculty and staff now enjoy an enlivened environment that heightens spirituality and promotes learning.
