Additions include classrooms, resource rooms, specialty areas, and a new kitchen and cafeteria. The open commons area of the existing school was remodeled to include administrative areas, a media center and computer labs.

Specific areas of interest include the renovated entry, media center and cafeteria. Color and theme were a significant part of the project. Bright primary colors were used in common areas, and individual classrooms were decorated with specific motifs. The media center features a tiered reading nook separated by book columns for a quieter, more comfortable setting. The columns are detailed with specific titles selected by the students.
