The existing Hall Elementary School building, which shares the same 6.6-acre site, was unsuitable for continued use as a school facility and was demolished.
The renovated building houses 500 students in pre-kindergarten to fourth grade. In addition to historical renovation, accessibility and building-code improvements, the project provides all new building systems to the Mullen School. The addition includes 30,000 square feet of new classroom space and a new gymnasium/cafeteria wing that is shared with the community.
Sitework includes relocation of an adjacent public way, a new pedestrian/bike path, redevelopment of parking areas, new landscaping, site amenities and new, fully accessible building entrances.
