There is space for listening to music and several visual display areas.
The orientation of the circulation desk, strategic position of the director’s office, low-height wall in the workroom and arrangement of the stacks permit easy supervision and enhance student support. Students can access the upper-level multimedia lab without disrupting media center activity.
Classic colors and durable finishes enhance the interior. Beige wall color provides a neutral backdrop for planned wall displays and cherry furniture adds to the traditional feel of the room. A variety of lighting types and levels were used to accent individual areas.
