Amenities are arranged around a large three-story skylighted atrium, which is reminiscent of a village piazza. A major new entrance with stone portico at the west side gives access to the atrium while serving as a backdrop for a new outdoor amphitheater.

The atrium space functions as a lobby for the theater. The theater stage is designed for flexibility and traveling road shows with counterweight rigging, fly gallery, adjustable proscenium, portable orchestra shell and a motorized orchestra pit lift. It can be everything from a concert hall to a dramatic thrust stage playhouse. Movable walls open the theater to the atrium, creating unlimited opportunities for imaginative, campuswide theatrical and social events.
