Outside the classrooms, images of leaves highlight the variety often found in nature; ornamental lizards are discovered along the exhibit wall; and a custom filigree “leaf” ceiling stimulates the sunlight that filters through a canopy of trees deep within the forest. In contrast to the loud, harsh environments of our age, this learning center offers a quiet environment designed for learning and discovery.
