school.
The facility was designed with both the students and community in mind. The three-story academic wing includes classrooms, which were designed with enough flexibility to support instruction of a variety of subjects, resulting in increased efficiency. Teachers work out of four fully equipped office suites located in each academic wing.
The facility’s main lobby is incorporated into the community-use portion of the facility, which provides access to the 750-seat auditorium and 1,820-seat fieldhouse. The lobby is a commons area, which includes access to technology, a central theme of this regional landmark.
The use of masonry, precast and terrazzo provide an image of permanence, which along with an emphasis on natural light, fulfills the design intent of developing user friendly spaces.
