With increasing enrollments, the Wrightstown Community School District purchased 51 acres across from the current Middle/High School and constructed a new 164,561-square-foot facility that will create exciting learning opportunities for the 21st century.
Initially designed to serve 500 students, all core areas such as the cafetorium, fieldhouse and CAPACITY500COST PER SQ FT$73.49FEATURED IN2001 Architectural Portfolio center, were designed for 750 students. Classrooms can be added in the future. The one-story building with sloped concrete tile roofs has plenty of windows for natural light. The school is designed in wings and has more than 30 classrooms. A spacious multimedia center with convenient access and adjoining meeting room is available for community use. Every classroom contains video, voice and data access.
The fieldhouse has four basketball and volleyball courts and a four-lane track, and seats more than 1,450 people. The cafetorium with stage and large-group auditorium is a bonus for the performing-arts curriculum and seats more than 350. The site contains football, soccer, baseball and softball fields.
